gen. nov. with a wood structure
of stem, growth zones indistinct, diffuseporous,
60 vessels per mm2, portion of vessels
on wood quantity ca. 30 % (entree rays), vessels
mostly solitary, radial diameter on an average
of 120 μm, tangential diameter on an average
of 80 μm, walls with helical thickenings,
perforations scalariform, up to 26 bars, fibres
with small bordered pits, axial parenchyma
paratracheal diffuse, chambered crystalliferous
cells and crystalidioblasts present, rays very
high and up to 425 μm wide, middle cells on an
average of 38 μm high.
