Stem up to 6 mm. in diameter with a cylindrical protostele about .8 mm. in diameter, composed of tracheids with scalariform thickenings and without clearly defined protoxylem groups. Petiolar traces depart in an estimated 2/5 phyllotaxy, up to one-third size of stele, crescent to ellipsoidal in transverse section at point of departure, becoming adaxially curved in the free petiole; a few smaller tracheids along the middle, adaxial face. Adaxial decurrent parenchymatous band and median, abaxial diarch root trace associated with each foliar trace. Foliage and sporangia unknown.
