Diagnosis
Stems 11–16 mm in width. Rhomboid leaf bases, 3.5–(4.0) –4.5 mm high and 1.2–(1.6) –2.0 mm wide (n = 38), about 10–16 leaves in each gyre. Leaf, 2.5–(5.1) –7.5 mm long (n = 30), 0.2–2.0 mm wide (n = 24), with a tapering tip. A conspicuous carbonized line, representing single vein extending in the middle of leaf, about 0.1 mm wide. Sporophylls, arranged in a helix or pseudowhorl, 6.0–14.1 mm long (n = 9), up to about 3.4 mm wide at lower-middle part; each consisting of a widened basal extension and strap-like lamina, 4.0–8.1 mm long (n = 12) and 0.8–1.8 mm wide. Sporangia, 2.4–5.1 mm long (n = 11) and up to 3.2 mm wide.
