Diagnosis
Secondary xylem of the morphogenus Pinoxylon KNOWLTON emend. READ, with the wood structure of stem, growth layers present, earlywood gradually turn into the latewood, bordered pits in radial walls protopinoid, resin channels to 200 × 275 μm in diameter, rays presented as uniseriate only small cellular rays, as uni- to partially biseriate rays with secretory cells and large rays of different largeness and sharpe, uni- and biseriate rays mostly 2–14 cells high, large rays 5–12 cells (260–800 μm) high, cells of rays with only small cells on average 23 μm high, secretory cells on average 60 μm high, cells of large rays to 75 μm wide and to 110 μm high, in the cross-field one to two taxodioide pits, on the ends of rays one to two rows of ray tracheids, between ray cells and tracheid walls intercellular spaces.
