- Diagnosis
- Thallus cylindrical to barrel-shaped with relatively large central stem. Branches arranged in closely spaced whorls, 20 to 38 branches in a whorl depending on whether at middle or near end. Branches inclined to central stem, expanding gradually from base to end.
