- Leaves asymmetrical, complete, microphyll, elliptic, preserved lamina length 3–4.6 cm, preserved width 1.5–2 cm; apex seemingly acute but most of the leaves have round apiecs due to insectivory; base acute; margin entire; texture coriaceous; petiole normal; venation eucamptodromous; primary vein moderate to stout; secondary veins alternate to opposite, distance between two secondaries 0.04–0.3 cm, numerous, closely spaced, departing the primary vein almost at right angle at the base, wide acute to acute upwards,
joining super adjacent secondaries by percurrent tertiaries; tertiary veins percurrent, sinuous.
