Diagnosis
Leaves are long, narrow, with parallel margins for a suffi cient length; the base of the leaf is cuneate, leaf apex — gradually narrowing to the top. Petiole is short, with diameter signifi cantly prevailing those of primary vein. Secondary veins — multiple, sometimes slightly curved, parallel to each other, bifurcated closer to the leaf margin, departing at equal intervals. Intercalary veins are usually lacking at the whole leaf length, rarely observed in the middle or upper parts of the leaf blade. Tertiary veins are orthogonal to the secondaries, distinct, slightly undulate.
