- Leaf symmetrical, simple, very narrow elliptic; preserved lamina length 5.8 cm, maximum width 1.4 cm; apex attenuate; base acute; margin entire; texture coriaceous; venation pinnate, eucamptodromous; primary vein (1º) single, prominent, almost straight, slightly curved at the basal and apical portion, thicker towards the base; secondary veins (2º) seemingly seven pairs visible, 0.7 to 1.5 cm apart, curved up, angle of divergence acute to right angle (60º–80º), alternate to sub-opposite, unbranched, thinner towards the margin; intersecondery veins absent; tertiary veins (3º) not preserved; exhibits a highly dark polished nature causing difficulties for the study
of finer reticulations.
