Fruit with a distal chartaceous, elongate-elliptical wing and a proximal, rounded to oval, nut-like fruiting body. A prominent rim is located at the equatorial zone of the fruit body, representative of the edge of calyx tube. The wing venation is characterized by a strong midvein, and minor parallel longitudinal secondary veins that extend onto the fruit body.
