- Diagnosis
- Tricolporate pollen; three-lobed, rounded in polar view, exine 1.25 um thick, reticulate; muri formed by pilarum up to 1.25 um thick; lumina irregular, 0.5-1 um across; colpi extending almost to poles, margin crenulate; pores 2-2.5 um in diameter; thin nexinous membrane continues across pores in polar view; pores relatively weakly expressed in equatorial view. Size ranges from 15-27 um in polar view.
