- Incubously foliated liverwort with conduplicate-trilobed entire leaves, with a lobe triangular rounded at apex, lacking ocelli, with a lobule slightly
longer than wide, adnate to lobe close to stem and lying ± parallel to the stem axis, forming a widely clavate to obovate smooth watersac, with obovate underleaves about as long as wide, bilobed to 0.36–0.37 the length, with the apical half of underleaves armed with 1–3 short teeth on both sides. Differing from the most similar fossil species F. rovnoi and F. varians by somewhat asymmetric leaf lobules – widest in upper third, distinctly constricted above the mouth, strongly inflated above the constriction, with
the mouth turning outward the stem, with semicircular mouth margins.
