- Diagnosis
- Leaf symmetrical, mesophyll, shape elliptic to narrow oblanceolate, preserved lamina length 8.7–11.3 cm, preserved width 4.4–6.5 cm; apex acuminate; base acute; margin entire; texture coriaceous; petiole normal; venation pinnate, mainly eucamptodromous but sometimes appearing brochidodromous due to percurrent tertiaries; primary vein stout in thickness, slightly curved; secondary veins 18–20 pairs visible, alternate to opposite, distance between two secondaries 0.5–1.0 cm, angle of divergence wide acute to right angle, right angle at the base but becoming wide acute as approaching upwards, uniform; intersecondary veins present; tertiary veins percurrent, simple, alternate to opposite, retroflexed; marginal ultimate venation looped; quaternary vein fabric irregular reticulate; areoles well developed, imperfect, predominantly quadrangular.
