Diagnosis
Pollen grain triangular in polar view; walls convex, giving semispheroidal appearance. Tricolporate brevicolpate, colpi opened, forming a cup-like structure; ora vestibulate, vestibule not very clear. Ora diameter 8 um. Exine c. 2-3 um thick, sexine as thick as nexine, nexine thickened at ora, exine finely reticulate.
