- Diagnosis
- Axes up to 200 mm long and 20 mm wide, dichotomizing at least twice, with sterile ones terminated by leaves in dense truss. Sterile leaves up to 25 mm long and 1.2 mm wide and smooth at margin. Leaf cushions up to 12.5 mm long and 2.3 mm wide. Megasporangiate strobilus cylindrical, reflexed or pendulous, up to 50mmlong and 9.6mmwide (excluding reflexed sporophyll laminae). Strobilar axes up to 1.2 mm wide. Megasporophylls up to 22mmlong, with smoothmargin and vertically expanded base. Keel increasing in height from close to sporophyll base. Pedicel of sporophyll 2.8–3.9mm long and 0.8mmwide, alations 2.4–3.3 mm wide, heel 1.7–2.3 mm high, and lamina 12–18 mm long. Megasporangia, 2.7–3.8mmlong and 1.7–1.9mmhigh, smooth and horizontally elongate. Megaspores with a gula and spiny ornamentation.
