- Lamina ovate, but with the sides ofthe
lamina tending toward straight-sided rather than curved;
base cuneate; petiole distinct; margin denticulate. Primary
venation pinnate, but with one pair of secondary
veins producing exmedial branches for most of its length.
Secondary venation craspedodromous, with each secondary
vein running directly to a tooth; some secondary
veins interconnected by an additional set of loops; basilaminar
secondary veins present. Tertiary venation thin,
subparallel, tending to be admedially oriented near the
apex.
