- Diagnosis
- Flowers with pedicels 3–8 (up to 15) mm long (X ¼ 6:15, n ¼ 10) x 0.5–1.0 mm wide (X ¼ 0:7, n ¼ 10); actinomorphic, perigynous, pentamerous; hypanthium campanulate, 3–4 mm long (X ¼ 3:2, n ¼ 7) x 4–6 mm wide
(X ¼ 4:29, n ¼ 7), length : width ratio 0.75 : 1, hypanthial rim with inserted sepals and stamens; sepals five, 1 mm long x 1 mm wide, ovate with pointed apical tip; gynoecium unicarpellate, stigma distally flared, 0.5–1 mm wide, bilobed; style elongate, 1–4 mm long x 0.5–1.0 mm wide; ovary 1.5–3.0 long (X ¼ 2:6, n ¼ 6) x 1–2 mm wide (X ¼ 1:83, n ¼ 6), ellipsoid, bilaterally asymmetric; produced in two whorls, inner whorl reflexed, outer whorl extended; anthers dorsifixed; mature pollen tricolporate, striate, 20 mm in diameter; immature fruits 4.5–5.0 mm long x 3.0–3.5 mm wide with partially symmetrical ellipsoid ovary.
