Diagnosis
Alete bisaccate, pollen grain. Corpus circular to elliptical; ektexine finely infrareticulate, cappa usually weakly developed. Sacci semi-circular, finely infrareticulate, filamentous; outline undulate. Sacci proximally attached at the equator, distally strongly pendent; distal saccus bases distinct, generally straight to slightly curved. A broad, weakly developed leptoma occurs between the saccus bases. Dimensions: Equatorial diameter (25 specimens) overall 81-112 um, corpus 45-65 um.
