Diagnosis
Leafy shoot and fertile shoot arising from a common axis. Large leaves linear to oblong, about 15 mm ×80 mm in size. Apex bluntly wedge-shaped, finely dentate. Lateral margins entire. Small leaves are linear, 3-4 mm broad and over 50 mm long, with apex three-teethed. Each fertile shoot bearing a strobilus about 2-2.5 cm in width and 15-20 cm in length. Sporophylls arranged in a verticillate pattern with sporangia situated on the adaxial side. Sporangia ellipsoidal, 2-4 mm broad and 5-7 mm long. Megaspores is circular or elliptical and over 1000 μm in diameter; Microspores are circular or triangular with rounded corner, 30-40 μm in diameter. Trilete rays extend to the equator.
