Diagnosis
The petiole (holotype) is 102 mm in length and 14.17–17.74 mm in width. The petiole spines in both specimens (CH8-6 and CH8-E) are 8– 20.19 mm in length, averaging 13 mm. The spines are spaced 12–19 mm apart along the petiole and are large, flattened, curved and may occasionally be paired. The bases of the spines are broad and form extended, arcuate connections with adjacent spines.
