- Diagnosis
- Pollen grain spherical; pores circular, 2.3 ym in diameter, scattered all over the surface. Spinose, spines 8-16 um long, conical. The base of the spines
slightly raised from the surface. Exine c. 3-4 um thick between the spines, sexine as thick as nexine, columellae distinct, exine between the spines smooth. Spines 8-12 um apart.
