- Diagnosis
- Leaves suborbicular to reniform, longly petiolate, obviously of thin, membranaceous texture, (l.2-)2-4(-5)cm long and (1-) 1.8-4.5(-6) cm wide, rounded at the apex and truncate to widely cuneate at the base, abruptly attached to a thin (1.5 mm) petiole (preserved length 1.2 cm). Venation palmate, acrodromous, consisting of one medial (midrib) and 4 lateral primaries radiating from the base and joining in the apex or the margin, and numerous parallel interprimaries of two orders (4-8 between the two primaries) connected with cross veins of at least two orders, subparallel to each other, oblique (under the angles of 60-85°), thicker wider apart. On the impressions of the abaxial leaf side polygonal meshes (? aerenchyma) about 0.2 mm across rarely visible at some places, not forming a distinct pad.
