- Diagnosis
- As for the genus with the
following additions: Mature fruits predominantly
elliptical in longitudinal outline. Crosssection
of fruit triangular with rounded, rarely
sharp angles. Stigmas rounded to slightly
pointed, almost sessile on top of fruit. Length
of fruits 1.0–1.3 mm; breadth 0.6-0.8 mm.
Pollen isopolar, triangular in equatorial outline
with straight to slightly concave sides;
diameter about 11–15 lm; apertures typically
non-protruding; pollen wall smooth, perforated
by minute canals.
