Diagnosis
Globose infructescences helically arranged on a long axis. Infructescences sessile, small, and numerous. Numerous fruits attached on a sessile receptacle core. Fruits (achenes) lacking dispersal hairs. Achenes small, less than 3 mm in length. Styles very short.
