Süss, with stem wood structure, growth layers distinct, diffuse-porous up to slightly semi-ring-porous, vessels solitary, arranged in radial rows and groups, average diameter of solitary vessels in the middle part of growth layers
160 µm, perforations simple, intervessel pits small and alternate, tyloses numerous, rays homogeneous up to slightly
heterogeneous, 1–4 cells wide and 3–70 cells high, walls
opposite vessels with small simple pits.
