Diagnosis
Bisexual flowers, small, five sepals, synsepalous, pubescent, toothed. Petals basally connate, narrow linear-lanceolate in shape, raised midvein with reticulate venation, and an acute papillate apex. Androecium composed of 10 stamens, free, filaments thin and large; anthers rectangular shape, dorsifixed; the anthers have one gland, regular sculpturing, Piptadenia type (subtype Entada). Gynoecium subsessile, superior ovary, style tapering to a punctiform stigma.
