- Diagnosis
- Sterile pinnules pinnately to palmately lobed, with acute apices, accessory and irregular lobing on the pinnules, dis-posed on a modified rachis adapted for scrambling or climbing. Venation from fan-shaped to palmate, occasionally forming anet pattern. Epidermal cells with sinuate walls. Sterile pinnules amphistomatic. Stomata not sunken, with weakly specialized guard-cells bearing lip-like thickenings.
