Diagnosis
Alete bisaccate pollen grain, outline haploxylonoid. Corpus circular to elliptical with the transverse axis greater than the longitudinal axis. Exine thin, double-layered, finely infrareticulate. Sacci small, crescent-shaped and laterally inclined; slightly more coarsely infrareticulate than corpus. Sacci bases curved and distinct. A distinct, sharply delimited dumb-bellshaped sulcus extends the entire height of the corpus; the sulcus thus possesses rounded ends and attains its greatest width at these termini. Dimensions: Equatorial diameter (25 specimens) overall 57-90 um, corpus 38-49 um.
