Diagnosis
Leaves are broad-cuneate, long-stalked, deeply dissected into 12 narrow linear lobes. Leaves are hypostomatic. Venation is not expressed. Cells of upper surface are smaller than cells of lower epidermis. Upper surface of epidermis is composed of wide forms of elongated cells and isodiametric cells with straight periclinal walls and distinct small wart on anticlinal walls. Lower epidermis is composed of wide forms of elongated cells and isodiametric cells with straight periclinal walls. Many cells bear poorly pronounced small warts. Large-oval stomata with asymmetric folded contour are randomly distributed. Subsidiary stomatal cells do not differ in degree of cutinization from ordinary cells and bear poorly pronounced median small warts. Proximal walls of subsidiary cells form cuticular ring around stomatal pit.
