- Zoosporangium holocarpic, inoperculate, spherical, or nearly so, 40-45 mm in diameter with a firm, but not thick, wall and many (8 visible in the figured specimen) rather regular, radiating, cylindrical (4-6 mu diam) discharge tubes of various lengths. Zoospores and vegetative system, if any, unknown.
