- Diagnosis
- Fossil cones ovate to elliptic, 6.0–6.9 cm long and 2.8–3.6 cm wide.
Each cone contains 26–32 imbricate and spirally arranged ovuliferous
scales. Scales rhombic to suborbicular, apex truncate-rounded
and base auriculate. Bracts subspathulate, usually exserted, and
apical cusp acute or acuminate.
