- Diagnosis
- Leaves suborbiculate, wide elliptic to ovate,
base rounded, apex acute to acuminate; margin regular
serrate, teeth sinus and apex acute to rounded, at the
base of the leaf teeth pressed against margin, crenate
or absent; venation pinnate, reticulodromous, 8 to 11
secondary veins, often forked, branches connected with
the next secondary vein or its branches or the parallel
running intersecondary veins in a narrow arc or an acute
angle, outer branches or fine veins branching-off from
the arcs, terminating directly in the apex or sinus of teeth;
tertiary veins percurrent, relatively narrow, running off
oblique the secondary veins, going perpendicular to the
primary vein.
