Diagnosis
Pollen grain bisaccate, amb strongly diploxylonoid. Corpus well defined, subcircular to slightly longitudinally oval. Cappula narrow, rectangular, margins parallel, coinciding with total distal roots of sacci; extending over full length of corpus, breadth one-fifth that of corpus. Sacci reniformin shape, distinctly inflated, discrete, and much greater than semicircular in equatorial outline. Saccus infrastructure fine to moderately coarse. Root sacci straight.
