- Unilocular endocarp, approximately (20)-27-(36)mm long by (5)-10-(13)mm in diameter. Endocarp surface traversed by (13)-17-(23) discontinuous, strong (to 2mm high), longitudinal ribs. Apex pointed, base generally
rounded. Dorsal germination valve with a single, deep, infold forming a narrow groove on the outer face, and a narrow septum protruding into the locule, rendering the locule "U"-shaped in transverse section. No ornamentation in the exterior groove. Endocarp wall (0.6)-1.0-(1.8)mm thick (excluding rib projection). Endocarp wall dominated by tangentiallyelongate
sclereids. No evidence of resin ducts or cavities in the endocarp wall. Epicarp absent, presumed fleshy.
