Diagnosis
Pycnidia complete, singular, hypophyllous, circular-globose, with isodiametric dark-brown cells with thick, dark septa; sunken in leaf cuticle, 40–50 µm in diameter, distinctly ostiolate, ostiole 3–4 µm diam.; pycnidial wall pseudoparenchymatous; vegetative hyphae thin-walled, septate, long, non-hyphopodiate; hyphal cells squarish to rectangular with conspicuously thickened dark septa, 7–9 × 4–5 µm; conidia small, brown, one-celled, spherical to broadly ovate, 6–7 × 5–6 µm.
