- Diagnosis
- Incubously foliated liverwort with conduplicate-trilobed, entire leaves with a ventral lobule forming a saccate-campanulate watersac with a mouth generally directed toward the base of the stem, a small stylus and rounded dorsal lobes with a 1–2 cells wide row of ocelli, deeply bifid underleaves, and possible vegetative propagation by caducous leaves.
