Diagnosis
Pollen grain triangular in polar view; walls convex. Tricolpate, colpi, short, suboblate. Exine c. 4-5 um thick, sexine as thick as nexine, nexine thicker round the colpi, exine reticulate, reticulum fine, lumina less than 1 um in diameter, columellae distinct, less than 1 um long.
