Diagnosis
Distal portion of the stem with atactostele. Simple vascular bundles randomly arranged, reniform and keel-shaped; each vascular bundle with 1 to 4 metaxylem vessels with scalariform perforation plates and scalariform to opposite pits; 1 to 5 protoxylem cells with simple perforation plates; paravascular parenchyma developed; phloem in a single set; tabular parenchyma with 2-8 layers of elongated cells in cross-section; type A aerenchyma in ground tissue; numerous fiber bundles in ground tissue; spherical stegmata in discontinuous rows.
