- Diagnosis
- Oogonia of medium size, spherical or nearly so, 0.65 mm. to 1.00 mm. in length and width. Coronula separated from convex ends of the spirals by a depression. Nine or ten spirals visible in a lateral view. Prominent regularly arranged tubercles present, their shape and the distance between them somewhat variable; few specimens without tubercles. Intercellular ridges common, but often obscured by tubercles.
