- Diagnosis
- Compound bipinnate to tripinnate, occasionally tetrapinnate leaves, with
well-developed pecopteroid pinnules, with round to almost acute apices, distinct midvein,
numerous lateral veins. Pinnules decurrent, veins come into decurrent part directly from pinna
rachis. There are additional (intercalated) pinnules directly attached to frond rachis between bases
of last order pinnae. Basal part of frond is naked. Frond apex is dichotomizing (overtopped).
