- Diffuse porous; vessels mainly solitary, minute to medium in
diameter; intervessel pitting alternate to opposite; simple perforation
plates; parenchyma-like fibre bands alternating with ordinary
fibres, non-septate and septate fibres; wood parenchyma
diffuse and scanty, paratracheal vasicentric; 1–6 seriate rays, heterocellular
and homocellular; simple perforated ray cells present.
