- Diagnosis
- Subspecies of C. pertoni with in situ trilete isospores, amb sub-circular-circular, narrow crassitude (0.57–1 mm wide) laevigate contact faces, pronounced trilete apertural folds extend to crassitude. Exospore thickened distally with reticulum formed by narrow widely spaced muri. Spore wall is bilayered. Spore diameter 12.6–15 mm (N = 15, x¯ = 13.2 mm).
