Diagnosis
Stems from 1.5 mm.–0.25 mm. wide. Sporangia considerably wider than high, 2 mm. × 1 mm. but exhibiting considerable range in size. Spores yellow, smooth, 32μ (25μ–37.5μ), developed in tetrads, with tri-radiate marking.

    Gonez & Gerrienne (in Int. J. Pl. Sci. 171: 214. 2010) superfluously designated another specimen, Lang no. 1242/V58011 (Lang 1937, pl. VIII, fig. 8).
