- Diagnosis
- This seems clearly to be a staminate catkin. At one
end of the dense aggregation of flowers can be seen a
short portion of the peduncle. Such a catkin would
suggest Salix, Populus. Betula, Alnus, Juglans, Hicoria,
etc.
