The attempt of Eggert & t.N.Taylor (1966, l.c.) to designate a 'holotype' [Fertile specimen contained in Southern Illinois University Coal Ball 860. Peel preparations and slides are now in the authors collections. Holotype specimen collected at the Sahara Coal Co. No. 6 Mine.] for recombined fossil-species is nomenclaturally inadmissible.
