- Diagnosis
- A subspecies of C. pertoni containing miospores 18 - 30 μm (x = 25 μm) in diameter with rounded to roundedtriangular ambs and narrow equatorial crassitudes. Spores trilete (sutures sometimes accompanied by triradiate folds or lips) with equatorial margins and distal surfaces ornamented by coni. Proximal surfaces sometimes with folds, smooth or with three inter-radial papillae, spores referable to two dispersed spore taxa Streelispora newportensis and Aneuspora sp.
